So, what is up with these black-and-white strips? Below is an explanation, and here is a link to the first one.

Hi, everybody. I figured I would share these with you, to express my happiness that our second donation drive was a success.

About a year ago, I was considering submitting Pungirls to the newspaper syndicates, and I took it upon myself to redraw more polished black-and-white versions of existing strips. Slated for revision were the early strips that introduce Beet, Punboy, and Rene Descartes, plus a new and improved retelling of the vampire storyline with an ending that doesn't bite. I never got more than four of the strips redone, though--redrawing your old art can get tedious.

But now, you can behold the fruits of my labor through the magic of the internet! Better artwork--same horrible jokes! But you have stuck with Pungirls for this long, so it's not like I'm going to scare you off or anything.

You can see a new black-and-white Pungirls revision every Tuesday until after October 6th, when I run out of revisions.
