Pungirls Returns!

Update, 4/2: So obviously the bit about bringing back Pungirls was an April Fool's joke. I am actually going to continue work on my current cartooning project, Borderline Boy. All the same, here is the original April Fool's entry, recorded below for posterity.

So after doing yesterday's comic strip with the pun, it got me thinking, and I realized just how much I've missed this. I've missed the bright colors. I've missed the cheesy humor and the wordplay. And I asked myself what was really worth my time: drab grays and stone-faced seriousness, or the vibrant and surreal world of the Pungirls.

So I've decided. I'm bringing Pungirls back.

I think I've really improved as an artist, both in terms of efficiency and technical skill, and I think I can do color comics three times a week. I'm going to give it a try. I had some storyline ideas for Pungirls that I never got to take a stab at, and I wanted to introduce a few new characters, such as a robot. Now there's a vastly untapped reservoir of pun material for the comic! This is gonna be so great.

So, tune in tomorrow and Friday for brand-new Pungirls comics. I'm really looking forward to this, and I hope you're as excited as I am.
